Hi there, my name is Tim Lawrence, aka Timmyfoody.

As well as being an experienced Retoucher and Finished Artist, I’m a keen photographer, artist, qualified fitness instructor, a fairly prolific Podcaster and a part-time food blogger.

However, this little page is specifically about my retouching and finished art skills.

Based in Sydney with over 18 years experience, I’m a commercially aware high-end retoucher, creative art-worker and finished artist. I have experience throughout the whole design process, from pre-production strategies and creative direction at photo-shoots, right through to finished art.

I’m an expert at managing print production work flows, with the ability to get through large projects on time and within budget.

My finished art standards are high. I aim to guarantee that each piece of artwork is flawless before going to print. By having specific processes and checks in place it allows me to achieve this. This can also be applied to your business. I am able to come to your studio, assess your project work flow and suggest how improvements can be made.
My aim is to bring your studio art-working standards and processes up to the highest possible level.

From my home studio I work on a top specification Eizo Colour Edge monitor, assuring my colour accuracy and calibration is 100% correct. This allows me to view and edit photos exactly as they’ve been shot by the photographer. I believe this to be very important in the retouching process, as I know 99% of photographers would agree.
