This was kind of inspired by the ground pork and green bean recipe you can get in Din Tai Fung. It’s very loosely based on that recipe, but using beef instead of pork and broccolini instead of green beans. So it’s basically completely different. :–)
For the vegetarians and vegans out there just substitute the beef for your favourite vegan alternative. Beyond Meat do a great ground beef alternative, that works really well with this. For the sauce I’d recommend either a black bean sauce or ginger and spring onion stir-fry sauce instead of the oyster sauce.
What’s great is you can turn this recipe into a fried rice with the leftovers. So make sure you cook extra so you can try that the next day.
